CCR Question #1 Draft

The first convention my partner and I used was the font was Viner Hand ITC in the color maroon for the title. The font makes the words look like they could have been handwritten. The maroon text helps the draw the viewers to the text and still make the title easy to read. We used the same font in white for the credits. The second convention is camera shots. During the interrogation scene all of the camera shots are master shots. We wanted to make sure that the viewers are able to see everyones reactions to what was being said and see that atmosphere of the interrogation room at all times. My partner and mines third convention is props to  help make our film more believable. Our filming location for the flashbacks did not have a No Trespassing sign so my partner and I printed one out. We also had the actor playing the detective to wear a badge to add the understanding that she is a member of law enforcement. She also had a tablet to write her notes on from the case. Our forth convention is the filming location. We filmed the interrogation scenes in a studio and the flash backs on location. The flash back location helps add a realness to the scenes. In the film A Quiet Place they filmed the location of where they filmed the scenes added to the story so my partner and I wanted to make sure that the locations were accurate. The fifth convention is that my partner and I used short takes for the flashbacks. The flashbacks are presented out of order in time. This helps the viewers understand that the girls don't understand what happened. In our genre most of the victims are confused as to what is happening or what happend.
The social groups represented are teenagers, adults, and people from rural and urban areas. Teenagers are represented by the three girls that go into the forest. The detective represents adults. Harper and Sarah represent people from rural areas and Mia represents people from urban areas. All of our actors are teeneagers from an urban area.
