Revision 3- Title

For the third revision my partner and I change the title to The Unknown because we felt that No Trespassing as a title did not really relate to the film. Were as The Unknown gives the idea that the girls do not know what is on the other side of the fence and that they do not know what happened to Mia. Also we moved the title over the slow motion to act as a transition from the interrogation to the events that lead up to the disappearance of Mia. Also the title over the slow motion instead of the black screen help get rid of the idea that the credits are a trailer because most opening credits in our genre do not use black screens.

Distribution Plan

The release date for my partner's and mines film is September 4th, 2020. After the traditional 90 days we will release our film on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital. My partner and I plan on using streaming services to put our movie on the market. Streaming services allow for a larger audience. Our film is targeted to teenagers and young adult and they spend most of their time on their phones. Most streaming have apps that can be downloaded onto phones allowing the viewer to have more access to our film. One streaming services that we will use is Amazon Prime Video. We will used Amazon Prime Video because in order to have Amazon Prime Video viewers have to pay a subscription for Amazon Prime but viewers who do not have Amazon Prime can also buy the movie and watch it on their phone or TV.

Revision 2- Reshoot

For our second revision my partner and I re-shot the detective scenes. One reason is that the dialog felt to robotic in these scenes and did not seem to flow as much as the flash back scenes. Also the outfits that the girls wore in the flash backs are now different to help add the the interrogation and the flash backs were two different days. We also made the detective a girl because of the difficulties with the guy detective makeup. Also the detective is now wearing blue because the color blue is usually associated with police work.

Traditional Distribution- Film

One way that films are distributed is the film company will sell the film to different movie theaters. Once the film is sold the movie theater can show the film for usually 90 days. After the film has reached the 90 days the film then has DVDs that are bought by stores so that costumers can by the film. Also because of the internet customers can now buy the film only so they do not have to go to a store. Finally different TV networks will buy the film and show the film on their TV channel so that even more viewers can watch the film.
